St. Hilda’s prayer ministry team meet on alternate Monday evenings in the church. Currently there are six regular members and we would welcome you to join us if and when you can.

We pray for specific people, situations, and healing, both in our local community and the wider world.

The power of prayer knows no boundaries; the joy of prayer of the intimacies of speaking to God who listens, hears, and then answers in the way He knows is best for us is a privilege.  Praying together is a powerful tool which offers an opportunity to foster fellowship and friendship whilst offering a caring response to the request for prayer.

If you would like us to pray for you or someone you know please contact us at church or leave a name on the ‘Prayer Request’ page of our website. We don’t need to know what you want prayer for, God knows all of our needs, but if you do tell us, you can be assured of total confidentially.

See the ‘Diary Page’ of the website for future dates when we meet in the vestry.

PRAYER MINISTRY AND PRAYING TOGETHER

Prayer for July

Most generous God
We praise you for the gifts you pour out on us day by day
Teach us to use them to your glory
Help us to proclaim through our daily lives that you are Lord
Equip us to speak with boldness and courage

of the love you have for each one of us
And to protect the weak and vulnerable from the actions of those who have no knowledge of you
Use us to spread the good news of Jesus Christ

and of His promise that all
who believe in Him shall have life eternal
We pray in His name

Amen
