This next walk is on Saturday, 11th August and we will hopefully be walking around Shrawley and Glasshampton. To get to the start, follow the A456 westwards towards Kidderminster and, in West Hagley, turn left at the Shell garage on to the A450. Continue through Harvington and Mustow Green to the junction with the A449 and here turn left. Almost immediately, turn right on to the B road through Hartlebury and into Stourport. Follow the one-way system through Stourport and over the river bridge. After a few hundred metres, as the main road bears round to the right, turn left on to the B4196. Pass through Astley village and continue for about two miles until you come into the village of Shrawley.

As you drive up the hill, you will see ‘The New Inn’ on your right. At this point there is a right turn into an unclassified lane where there is a parking area and picnic site. This is indicated by a brown ‘picnic/parking’ sign on the B4196 but it is small and easily missed. If you find yourself driving out of the village then you’ve passed it! Assemble on the parking area for a 12.30 p.m. Start.

Drivers, allow about an hour. For further details see Derek or ring him on 429 8314 – and do this anyway if the weather is dodgy.
